Dear colleague,

The first issue of the Journal of Political Science (Siyasal Bilimler Dergisi) to be published by the Political Science Faculty of the Marmara University in September 2003 aims to provide a new platform for academic deliberation for political and social scientists.

Aiming to publish articles in Turkish, English, and French and make substantial contributions to current academic debates, this journal is intended to become a source of reference for political science studies. To this end, we rely on your valuable contributions and interest in conjunction with the efforts of our editorial board.

The journal adopts an interdisciplinary approach, inviting contributions from diverse fields such as political sociology, governance, international relations, and urban studies to be considered for publication. No specific theme is determined for the first issue. A link for the time frame of publication of the first issue as well as the general guidelines is provided below.
